SBS launches #Foodie
SYDNEY: Media140 and SBS are bringing together food and social media for #Foodie - an event that will give gourmets and gourmands, chefs, food writers, bloggers, critics and restaurateurs an opportunity to discuss the ways in which social media is changing cooking, eating and dining experiences. Journalist & social media researcher, Julie Posetti will discuss with The Internet Chef Bridget Davis how she uses twitter and other social media in her work as well as looking at how the social web is impacting the food industry. The event kicks off on 5 May, more information here.

Roy Morgan appoints Duncan
SYDNEY: Roy Morgan Research has appointed Michael Duncan as media director. Duncan was previously client director of Nova Brisbane. Duncan will be based in Sydney with national responsibility for servicing Roy Morgan’s advertising and media agency clients, plus television and radio.
